National Bahá'à Schools
The purpose of the National Bahá'à Schools, as explained and clarified by Shoghi Effendi in the book "Advent of Divine Justice", is to provide for:
- close association and fellowship, both social and spiritual
- intellectual training in the history, principles and teachings of the Bahá'à Faith
- the application to one's life of the principles of moral conduct

Oregon School Committees
Oregon has two National Bahá'à School Committees: the Western Oregon Bahá'à School Committee, and the Ridván Bahá'à School Committee. Each organizes and operates a School, consisting of one or more sessions in their service area. The Committees are coordinated by the Education and Schools Office at the Bahá'à National Center.
The Western Oregon Bahá'à School Committee currently organizes and operates two sessions:
The Ridván Bahá'à School Committee sponsors the Ridván Summer School at Suttle Lake, an all-ages session in late July or early August.
